Specific Uses and Purposes:
Forced Cooling and Setting: This is the core function. The fans blow ambient or cooled air to rapidly dissipate the substantial heat absorbed by the cup during PE lamination and heat sealing. This causes the molten PE coating to quickly solidify into a sturdy, waterproof film and allows the paper stock to harden, locking in the cylindrical shape and preventing sagging or deformation.
Preventing Blocking/Sticking: The PE coating surface is tacky before it cools. If cups touch or are stacked while still hot, they can easily fuse together, causing production line jams and product waste. The airflow from the fans effectively prevents this sticking.
